The Telscombe Cattery
Welcome to our cattery in Telscombe Cliffs. We have 10 walk-in style PVCu pens and are licensed by Lewes District Council. Each pen benefits from a sleeping area with large viewing shelf, double glazed windows, and a cat flap to a secure run area with chair, scratching log and toys. The pens are warm in winter, each having a thermostatically controlled heater panel, and cool in summer due to the heat reflective roof, tiled floor and through ventilation. The pens are situated in a garden setting backing onto open fields. As the cattery is near to our house it is under constant supervision.

Time is spent each day with all boarders to ensure that your cat is happy and comfortable. Beds and bedding are provided, however we would encourage you to bring your own bedding and favourite toys to help your cat(s) settle in.

Feeding
A variety of foods, both tinned and dry, is available according to your cats preference. If your cat requires a more specialist diet or prescription foods these will need to be supplied by yourself. Cats are fed twice daily, unless you advise us that your cat has different requirements and fresh water is always available.

Opening Times
We are open for arrivals / departures from 11 am to 1 pm and again from 5pm to 7 pm from Monday to Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays except by prior arrangement.

Inspection visits are welcome during opening hours, by appointment

We also offer a Pick up and Delivery service. Please ask for details

Veterinary treatment
All cats boarded are covered by our Veterinary Insurance.

Vaccination and General Health
Your cat must be immunised against Feline Infectious Enteritis, and Cat Flu. Our vets also advise that owners may wish to have their cats vaccinated against Feline Leukaemia and Chlamydia, although these are optional at present.

Vaccination cover must be current with boosters up-to-date and certificates will be required.

All cats must be up to date with flea treatment and should have been recently wormed.

No cats suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from any infectious disease can be accepted. Owners will appreciate that this is essential to safeguard the health of all cats boarded.
